Introduction
You are playing Hawk the bat. Hawk can't hear his voice, so he has to use a light bulb to navigate around. One day he found himself alone in a cave full of scary eyes. Missing his friends, he is looking for the exit.
Goal
Everything is related to lights. You have your own light to uncover obstacles or activate eyes and the lights you can emit by placing or throwing them to trigger eyes from afar. The goal is to reach the finish area which is lit up identically in every level:
Eyes
There are different types of eyes lurking in the dark desperately waiting to see your light.
They just wanna see light. | They wanna see Hawk's light. | They wanna see the light of Hawk's emitted bulbs. |
Eyes sometimes work together and some might even hate each other. Experiment with different combinations if you cant seem to find a way to the exit.
Notes
The WebGL version might contain bugs, slight speed differences and visual differences. Please consider using the downloadable executable.
All visuals are limited to 1-bit according to the 1-bit jam rules - there is no alpha channel fading nor any sort of intentional design breaking this rule (even though it is allowed).
Though its sadly not entirely impossible that the engine did some compression or anti-aliasing, introducing unintended grey colored pixels (which isnt breaking the rules either, but still annoying to admit).
If you wanna have a different build for a different platform, just request it please :)
